PRIOR TO CLOSING: IMPORTANT CUSTOMER CHECKLIST

To ensure your closing can be completed as scheduled, please follow these important instructions prior to our crew arriving:

1.ALL POWER AND GAS ARE TURNED OFF TO THE SYSTEM AND THERE IS A CLEAR SAFE ACCESS PATH INTO THE BACKYARD AS WELL AS IN THE WORK AREAS.

2.Inground customers with SUMP WELLS: Please begin to pump down 48 hrs. prior to the closing date. A pool CANNOT be closed with significant water in the sump well.

3. ENSURE your pool has been vacuumed and water balanced prior to your closing. Remember, a pool put to bed clean in the fall, is a clean pool upon opening in the spring! Our crews do not vacuum pools prior to, or during closing.

4. PLEASE make sure that if you have a drop-in step in your pool that it (and the sand bags that hold it in place) has been removed BEFORE your closing. Our crews are unable to go into your (probably frigid) pool to remove such items.

5. PLEASE bring a sample of your pool water in ONE WEEK before your scheduled closing date. This will allow adequate time to make any necessary chemical changes to your water.
REMEMBER, water left over the winter months that is not balanced can cause liner fading, wrinkles and/or staining problems.

6. PLEASE be sure to clean your salt cell and cartridge filters if you have them, we do not clean. YOUR SALT CELL AND CARTRIDGE FILTER MUST BE STORED INDOORS FOR THE WINTER.

7. PLEASE ensure that all pool equipment, accessories and winter plugs and cover are left accessible by the pool side in plain sight for our crews to close your pool.
